This presentation was made in a scholarly track session. (Prof. George Gonpu, faculty mentor)<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Tejas Baidya: \u201cOnline Learning: What does the literature tell us?\u201d (Prof. Nikhil Varma, faculty mentor)<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Daniel Plessner: \u201cA Time Series Econometric Forecast for the Levels of Outstanding Student Loans Owned and Securitized in the United States.\u201d (Prof. Jason Hecht, faculty mentor)<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Stephanie Guzman presented her College Honors project \u201cWho Picked the Veggies in Your Salad?\u201d at the National Collegiate Honors Conference in Boston, MA in November, 2018.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Desislava Budeva, Associate Professor of Marketing, and her research assistant, student Julia Housel, co-authored two papers that were presented at academic conferences: \u201cTeaching Critical Thinking to Marketing Students: Lessons from Other Business Disciplines\u201d was presented at the Marketing Educators Association Conference in San Diego, California in April, 2017 and \u201cThe Effect of Institutional Distance on International Market Selection: Comparing Export to Foreign Direct Investment\u201d was presented at the Marketing Science World Marketing Congress in Porto, Portugal in June, 2018.\u00a0 Both papers have been submitted to peer-reviewed journals.<\/span><\/li>\n<li>Christina Chung, Associate Professor of Marketing, worked with Ramapo College student Jerard Guevarra on two papers entitled \u201cAttitude Toward Product Messages on Instagram Among Young Consumers\u201d and \u201cThe Effectiveness of Snapchat as a Promotion Tool\u201d that were presented at the COPLAC Northeast Regional Undergraduate Research, Scholarly, and Creativity Activity (NEURSCA) Conference at Mansfield University in Mansfield, PA in October, 2017. Mr. Guevarra also presented the papers at the Southeast COPLAC Conference at the University of South Carolina in April, 2018.<\/li>\n<li>Kathryn Yeaton, Associate Professor of Accounting, worked with Ramapo College student Karen Bassil on a paper that was accepted to the 2017 Mid-Atlantic Region Meeting Paper Session.\u00a0The article was entitled \u201cThe Growing Net Pension Liability: The Cases of New Jersey, Illinois, and Rhode Island.\u201d<\/li>\n<li>Alexandre Olbrecht, Associate Professor of Economics, worked with economics major Jeremy Rosen on a paper entitled \u201cCatching the Kosars and Passing on the Couches: An Econometric Approach to Modeling Quarterback Prospects in the NFL Draft\u201d.\u00a0 The paper was presented at the Eastern Economic Association Annual Meeting in New York, New York on February 25, 2017.<\/li>\n<li>Ed Petkus, Professor of Marketing and Dean of the Anisfield School of Business, worked with marketing major Laura Criscione on a paper that was accepted for publication in the peer reviewed Journal of Higher Education Theory and Practice in November, 2016.\u00a0 The article was entitled \u201cCan We Have Class Outside? Implications of the Natural Environment for Marketing Pedagogy\u201d and appears in Volume 17 (1), 2017.<\/li>\n<li>George Gonpu, an economics professor, worked with student Ciana Hamlett writing the paper \u201cExploring the Link between Exchange Rates and the Prices of Primary Export Commodities: The Case of US-Liberian Dollar Exchange Rate.\u201d This paper was presented at the Conference on Business and Entrepreneurship in Africa at Syracuse University, Whitman School of Management on May 19-21, 2016.<\/li>\n<li>Jessica Perez, a senior majoring in accounting, presented her research paper entitled \u201cthe Affordable Care Act and its Relationship with New Entrants to the Work Force\u201d at the 2015 Society for the Advancement of Management (SAM) Conference in Las Vegas, Nevada under the advisement of Professor Tammi Redd.\u00a0 The theme of the conference was Advancing Management: The Employee, Ethics and Global Confidence and this presentation was made in a scholarly track session.<\/li>\n<li>Christina Chung, marketing professor, worked with student Maxwell Auth \u00a0on a paper that they presented at Ramapo College Poster Day in May, 2013 and that they will present at an academic conference: \u201cFactors affecting Information Credibility on Social Networking Sites:\u00a0 An examination of media richness and information adoption\u201d, 2013 International Conference of Business and Applied Sciences in New York, NY in August, 2013. \u00a0The paper is also to be published in the conference proceedings.<\/li>\n<li>Cherie Ann Sherman,\u00a0Professor of Business Law and Information Technology Management, worked with student, Valensiya Tsvetanova, on a paper that was published in the proceedings and presented as a roundtable: &#8220;Delta Airlines: Creeping Shari Law or Business as Usual?&#8221;\u00a0 \u00a0Eastern Academy of Management, Philadelphia, PA, May 9-12, 2012. (Abstract\u00a0\u00a0only).<\/li>\n<li>Desislava Budeva, marketing professor, worked with student Stoyan Stoyanov on a paper that was presented by the student at an academic conference: Budeva, D. and Stoyanov, S. (2011), &#8220;Can International Marketing Strategic Alliances Add Value to the Firm? Short and in Long Term Analysis,&#8221; Academy of International Business conference, Edinburgh, UK.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Juan Cabrera, finance professor, published a chapter in a book with student Viktoriya Staneva:\n<ul>\n<li>Cabrera, J.
