{"id":1436,"date":"2018-10-25T13:05:31","date_gmt":"2018-10-25T17:05:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ramapo.edu\/foundation\/?page_id=1436"},"modified":"2026-02-20T10:28:06","modified_gmt":"2026-02-20T15:28:06","slug":"emily-kosstrin-mann","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.ramapo.edu\/foundation\/governors\/emily-kosstrin-mann\/","title":{"rendered":"Emily Kosstrin Mann"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Emily Kosstrin Mann<\/strong>, Retired Owner, Emily Mann Design<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ramapo.edu\/foundation\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/199\/2019\/01\/mann.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-1724 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ramapo.edu\/foundation\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/199\/2019\/01\/mann-300x287.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"242\" height=\"231\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.ramapo.edu\/foundation\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/199\/2019\/01\/mann-300x287.png 300w, https:\/\/www.ramapo.edu\/foundation\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/199\/2019\/01\/mann.png 381w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 242px) 100vw, 242px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Ms. Mann is a retired professional designer; her work encompassed museum exhibitions and trade show design, medical and commercial interiors, space planning and construction as well as audio-visual and graphic design.\u00a0 Ms. Mann has been involved in a number of community organizations in her hometown of Englewood. \u00a0She is trustee emeritus at the Elisabeth Morrow School and a trustee of the Dwight-Englewood School. \u00a0Ms. Mann also served as a director of Planned Parenthood of Greater Northern N.J. In addition she is a member of the Planning Board of the City of Englewood and the Chair of their Sign and Fa\u00e7ade Commission. The John Harms Center for the Arts (now Bergen Performing Arts Center) and the N.J. Main Street Program have honored her.\u00a0 Ms. Mann is a former College trustee and was honored as a Distinguished Citizen in 2006.\u00a0 She holds degrees in interior architecture from Pratt Institute and studied city planning at Hunter College.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ramapo.edu\/foundation\/governors\/\">Back to the Board of Governors<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Emily Kosstrin Mann, Retired Owner, Emily Mann Design Ms. Mann is a retired professional designer;
