All Liberal Studies majors are required to complete a significant experiential activity that enriches classroom time with concrete experience. This may include: internship, co-op, presenting a research paper of original, scholarly work at a professional conference or in an academic journal, or study abroad.<\/p>\n
There are many exciting possibilities, including scholarships for study abroad and funding opportunities for conference presentations.<\/p>\n
The Liberal Studies Convener must approve the significant experiential learning activity, and she can help you decide which option is best for you and your learning goals.<\/p>\n
