Purpose<\/h3>\n

Ramapo College of New Jersey launched a Strategic Plan for Comprehensive Internationalization<\/a> beginning in Fall 2015. In addition to specific targets within the plan, each academic year will also have a specific region of focus. Through these regional foci, our goal is to increase global awareness and the multitude of opportunities and initiatives the College is involved. Opportunities for Faculty<\/h3>\n

Provost\u2019s Grant for Faculty Engagement in Europe<\/h4>\n

The 2017-2018 regional focus area for Ramapo College’s Strategic Plan for Comprehensive Internationalization is Europe.\u00a0 Travel grants are available for full-time faculty for scholarship, teaching and learning, or service\/civic engagement in and\/or involving Europe.\u00a0 The following criteria and procedures will be applied in distributing these funds:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Up to 10 grants will be awarded;<\/li>\n
  2. Funding will be limited up to $2,500 per grant;<\/li>\n
  3. Proposals may involve scholarship, teaching and learning, or service\/civic engagement in and\/or involving Europe;<\/li>\n
  4. All travel must be completed by 30 June 2018;<\/li>\n
  5. Proposals must be signed off on by the Director of International Education (Ben Levy<\/a>) before submission and will be vetted by the dean, recommended by Deans\u2019 Council, and funded by the Provost;<\/li>\n
  6. Proposals are no longer being accepted at this time.<\/strong><\/li>\n
  7. An end of the year reception will be held in April 2018 for grant awardees at which time awardees will report out on their funded work related to Europe. Awardees should plan to attend.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
