Use These Keys Anytime During any Changes:

FIRST TIME YOU LOG IN<\/strong>
\nTo Configure Cisco Unity:<\/strong>
\nStep 1 Press the Message button.
\nStep 2 Enter a PIN (password), then press #. (default pin 0000)
\nStep 3 Please follow system instructions for the following:
\n\u2022 Record your name
\n\u2022 Set up a new PIN (password)
\n\u2022 Record your greeting
\n\u2022 WAIT until you hear \u201cYou Have Finished Enrollment\u201d then hang up<\/strong><\/p>\n

To Check Messages from your telephone:<\/strong>
\nStep 1 Press the Message button and log on.
\nStep 2 Press 1 to hear new messages, or press 3 to review old messages.
\nStep 3 Use the following keys to manage your messages and to control playback.
\nUse These Keys During a Message<\/strong>
\n1 Repeat
\n7 Skip back
\n2 Save
\n9 For Message Properties
\n3 Delete
\n18 Mark this message urgent 4 Reply
\n* Cancel message playback
\n5 Forward message
\n0 For help
\nUse These Keys After a Message<\/strong>

\n6 Mark it new
\n2 Save
\n7 Skip back

To Check Messages from outside the office:<\/strong>
\nStep 1 Dial 201-684-7500
\nStep 2 When the greeting begins to play, Press *
\nStep 3 Enter your ID (4-digit extension or mailbox number), then press #.
\nStep 4 Enter your PIN (password) then press #<\/p>\n

Cisco Unity Voicemail User Guide To:<\/strong>
\nChange Your PIN (password):<\/strong>
\nStep 1 Press the Message button and log on.
\nStep 2 Press 4 >3 >1.
\nStep 3 Enter a new PIN (password) and press #.
\nStep 4 Enter the new PIN (password) again to confirm it and press #.<\/p>\n

To Change Your Recorded Name:<\/strong>
\nStep 1 Press the Message button and log on.
\nStep 2 Press 4 >3 >2.
\nStep 3 At the tone, record your name, press # to end recording
\nor press * to keep the current recording.<\/p>\n

To Record a Greeting:<\/strong>
\nStep 1 Press the Message button and log on.
\nStep 2 Press 4>1>1.
\nStep 3 After Cisco Unity plays your current greeting, press 1 to re-record it, or press 3 to record a different
\ngreeting, choose the greeting, and then rerecord it.<\/p>\n

To Enable or Disable a Greeting:<\/strong>
\n(You can enable or disable only your alternate greeting by phone.)
\nStep 1 Press the Message button and log on.
\nStep 2 Press 4 >1 >1.
\nStep 3 After Cisco Unity plays your current greeting, press 2 to enable or disable your alternate greeting.
\nNote:<\/strong> When your alternate greeting is enabled, it overrides all other greetings.<\/p>\n

To Reply to a Message:<\/strong>
\nStep 1 After listening to the message, press 4.
\nStep 2 Record your reply.
\nStep 3 Press # to send the reply, or press 1 for message options.
\nMessage Options are the same as above.
\nStep 4 Follow the Cisco Unity conversation to handle the original message.<\/p>\n

To Forward a Message:<\/strong>
\nStep 1 After listening to the message, press 5.
\nStep 2 Follow the Cisco Unity conversation to address the forwarded message.
\nStep 3 Press # to forward the message as is, or press 2 to record an introduction,
\nor press 3 for message options.
\nStep 4 Press # to forward the message as is, or press 1 for message options.
