Study Room Reservations: Policies<\/h2>\n

- The study rooms are intended for current Ramapo students only<\/strong> and are not open to faculty, staff, and the general public.<\/li>\n
- Rooms can be booked 2 weeks in advance<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
- Only one reservation per day<\/strong> is allowed for any person\/group.<\/li>\n
- Study Rooms: 2 hours<\/strong>\u00a0will automatically be selected for each booking.<\/li>\n
- Media Rooms: 2 hours<\/strong>\u00a0will automatically be selected for each booking.<\/li>\n
- Students are required to check in<\/strong><\/a> to confirm their reservations when they arrive in the room. If you do not check in within 15 minutes<\/strong> of the reservation time, ex. 1:15pm<\/strong><\/em>, the room will be made available to others.<\/span><\/li>\n
- Please\u00a0check out\u00a0<\/strong><\/a>when ready to leave.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

- \n This policy is in response to student requests for a better study room management system that encourages efficient room usage.<\/strong>\n<\/ul>\n
- Go to <\/strong>https:\/\/libcal.ramapo.edu\/<\/a>. <\/li>\n
- Scroll down<\/strong> and Click on Reserve a Study or Media Room<\/strong> button.<\/li>\n
- Choose a category <\/strong>(ex: Study Rooms (1st Floor)<\/em>) or Choose All Categories <\/strong>from the dropdown menu.<\/li>\n
- On the reservation page under the Space<\/strong> column find a Study\/Media Room<\/strong> (ex: LC-113 – Study Room<\/em>). <\/li>\n
- \n NOTE: To select a future date: Use the left and right arrows <\/strong>to move between dates or use the Go to Date<\/strong> button.\n <\/ul>\n
- Select the Green Boxes<\/strong> next to the Study\/Media Room (ex: LC-113 – Study Room<\/em>) you would like to reserve.<\/li>\n
- \n NOTE: To change the reservation use the dropdown at the bottom of the page to Edit the Lenght of Your Reservation<\/strong> (ex: 1 Hour<\/strong><\/em>) or click the Trash Can button<\/strong>
- Once you have finalized your reservation times Click the Submit Times<\/strong> button.<\/li>\n
- Next Review<\/strong> the booking details page and Click Continue<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
- Fill out the Form<\/strong> and Click on the Submit my Booking<\/strong> button.<\/li>\n
- You will then receive an email<\/strong> confirmation that includes a check in code<\/strong> (ex: <\/em>3N8<\/strong>) regarding your booking.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

- Room numbers include maximum occupancy. Please select an appropriate room based on the number of students who will be using the room. Please note that you will be asked to move to a smaller room if you are using a room meant for 10 people.<\/strong><\/ul>\n<\/ul>\n
- On the day of your reservation you will need to check in<\/strong><\/a> to confirm your use of the room.<\/li>\n
- Log into<\/strong> to your Ramapo College E-mail<\/strong><\/a> account.<\/li>\n
- Open<\/strong> the confirmation e-mail you have received and Click On<\/strong> the click this link<\/strong><\/a>. You can also Scan the QR code<\/strong> at the door panel to your Study\/Media room or go directly to https:\/\/libcal.ramapo.edu\/r\/checkin<\/a><\/strong>.<\/li>\n
- Enter the check in code<\/strong> (ex: <\/em>3N8<\/strong>).<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

- Once the check in is complete a Check Out button<\/strong> will appear on the same screen for easy access. <\/li>\n
- Click on the Check Out button<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
- You can also check out by going direcly to https:\/\/libcal.ramapo.edu\/r\/checkout<\/strong><\/a>.<\/li>\n
- Log into<\/strong> to your Ramapo College E-mail<\/strong><\/a> account.<\/li>\n
- Open<\/strong> the confirmation e-mail you have received.<\/li>\n

- In order to provide fair access and use of study rooms to all students, please reserve the rooms only for the time that you need them.<\/strong><\/li>\n
- Please note that you may be asked to move if<\/strong> you are a single person occupying a room meant for big groups OR you are a big group occupying a room meant for a maximum of 3 people.<\/li>\n

Study Room Usage: Policies<\/h2>\n
<\/p>\n

- Study rooms are intended as a quiet place for students to work and study. Please keep noise levels to a minimum so as not to disturb other library users.<\/strong><\/li>\n
<\/p>\n
- If additional seating is required please return it to the floor<\/strong> when you leave the study room. Any other furniture including tables and moveable whiteboards should not be moved in the study rooms.<\/strong><\/li>\n
- Per Ramapo College policy, only service animals are allowed in the study rooms.<\/strong><\/li>\n
- Personal belongings should not be left unattended in the study rooms.<\/strong> The library is not responsible for loss, theft, or damage of personal property.<\/li>\n
- Please note that you may be asked to move<\/strong> if you are a single person occupying a room meant for big groups or you are a big group occupying a room meant for a maximum of 3 people.<\/li>\n
- Study rooms may not be used for<\/strong> regularly scheduled seminars, classes, club meetings, or other extra-curricular activities.<\/li>\n
- Study rooms should be left clean.<\/strong> Please throw away trash in trash cans and clean the whiteboards before leaving.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
