Policy

The Board of Trustees approved the honoring of the College’s founders as an all-college program celebrating the founding of Ramapo College and recognizing those faculty, staff, administrators and trustees as 鈥渇ounders鈥� and 鈥減ioneers.鈥�

This program may include current campus constituents as well as outreach to the College鈥檚 founders, pioneers, alumni, and retirees. The year is calculated based on 1969, the year Ramapo was established.

Reason for Policy

To acknowledge the founding of Ramapo College; to honor those faculty, staff, administrators and trustees who established Ramapo College; and to create opportunities for intergenerational and inclusive College gatherings.

To Whom Does the Policy Apply

The community of Ramapo College.
