Gender Inclusive Housing allows for same-gender, opposite-gender or other-gender identities to live together regardless of biological sex.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><a class=\"btn\" href=\"https:\/\/www.ramapo.edu\/womenscenter\/gender-inclusive-housing\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Gender Inclusive Housing Information<\/a><\/p>\n<div class=\"divider\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/themes\/rcnjrd\/images\/icons\/ramapo-arch-icom_rule.png\" alt=\"Ramapo\" \/><\/div>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><h2><b>Alcohol Allowed Housing\u00a0<\/b><\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"1066\" data-end=\"1106\">Alcohol Allowed Housing is available in:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"1107\" data-end=\"1226\">\n<li data-section-id=\"hf2tet\" data-start=\"1107\" data-end=\"1136\">Suites within The Village<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"1m0er5w\" data-start=\"1137\" data-end=\"1174\">7th and 8th floors of Laurel Hall<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"fc0r27\" data-start=\"1175\" data-end=\"1226\">Graduate student housing (eligible students only)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"1228\" data-end=\"1381\">Residents may become eligible beginning the first day of classes each semester, per the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ramapo.edu\/academic-calendars\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Academic Calendar<\/a>, provided all application requirements are met.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1383\" data-end=\"1731\">Alcohol is permitted only during the fall and Spring semesters. Alcohol is not permitted in any student housing during Winter Term, Summer Housing, or any interim\/break periods, regardless of age or housing assignment. Possession of alcohol or alcohol-related paraphernalia during these times is prohibited and will be documented as a policy violation.<\/p>\n<hr data-start=\"1733\" data-end=\"1736\" \/>\n<h2 data-section-id=\"11jq1pm\" data-start=\"1738\" data-end=\"1781\">&#x1f7e2; Alcohol Allowed Housing Status (LIVE)<\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"1783\" data-end=\"1882\"><strong data-start=\"1783\" data-end=\"1882\">This list is updated in real time through the official Residence Life Housing Status Dashboard.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\" data-start=\"1884\" data-end=\"1982\">&#x1f449; View current Alcohol Allowed Housing assignments here:<br data-start=\"1941\" data-end=\"1944\" \/><strong data-start=\"1944\" data-end=\"1982\"><a class=\"btn\" href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/spreadsheets\/d\/1e9r_L3WlSQMoIod5Ej3QntIsWsvjXpa-ufVLQdCU40k\/edit?gid=1494926010#gid=1494926010\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Alcohol Allowed Housing List<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1984\" data-end=\"2102\">(This dashboard is maintained by Residence Life staff. Updates may occur throughout the semester as approvals change.)<\/p>\n<hr data-start=\"2104\" data-end=\"2107\" \/>\n<h2 data-section-id=\"18pv5kk\" data-start=\"2109\" data-end=\"2131\">Application Process<\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"2133\" data-end=\"2209\">To become Alcohol Allowed Housing, all requirements below must be completed:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"2211\" data-end=\"2687\">\n<li data-section-id=\"7tsih4\" data-start=\"2211\" data-end=\"2283\">Each resident of the suite who is 21+ must complete the Alcohol Allowed Agreement<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"14oefnx\" data-start=\"2284\" data-end=\"2406\">Once all required residents have completed the agreement, residents must email their hall office confirming completion<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"x6ro85\" data-start=\"2407\" data-end=\"2491\">Hall staff will place an Alcohol Allowed Agreement in a holder immediately inside the suite door<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"obqtcn\" data-start=\"2492\" data-end=\"2577\">Residents are responsible for ensuring the agreement remains visible at all times<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"116e1xm\" data-start=\"2578\" data-end=\"2687\">Staff will review the request and, once approved, place an official Alcohol Allowed sign inside the suite<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"2689\" data-end=\"2843\">The agreement must be posted before alcohol can be present in the suite. Until the process is complete, the housing assignment remains Alcohol Prohibited.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2845\" data-end=\"2929\">Alcohol Allowed status is valid for one semester only and must be renewed each term.<\/p>\n<hr data-start=\"2931\" data-end=\"2934\" \/>\n<h2 data-section-id=\"1gaeiiz\" data-start=\"2936\" data-end=\"2954\">Policy Reminder<\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"2956\" data-end=\"3066\">Alcohol is regulated under campus policy and must comply with all guidelines outlined in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ramapo.edu\/student-conduct\/\">Student Handbook<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\" align=\"left\"><a class=\"btn\" href=\"https:\/\/www.ramapo.edu\/student-conduct\/student-handbook\/alcohol-and-other-drug-policy-2\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">ALCOHOL, CANNABIS, OTHER DRUG, AND GOOD SAMARITAN POLICY<\/a><\/p>\n<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Residence Life offers several opportunities to our students to be a part of specialty housing.
