In 2005, the Alumni Association began allocating a portion of its fundraising proceeds to a new endowed fund to recognize students who are actively giving back to the College. It was important to the members of the Alumni Board to recognize students who are committed to helping others, thus complementing the existing Alumni Association Endowed Scholarship.
