When Mrs. Emily Geltman attended commencement with her son and daughter-in-law, an employee of the College, she was so impressed with the enthusiasm and accomplishments of the Educational Opportunity Fund (EOF) students that she established an endowed scholarship fund for their benefit. The fund is named in honor of her husband, Sidney, 鈥渁 kind and generous man who never stopped learning.鈥� The intent of the Geltman Scholarships is to provide tuition assistance for students enrolled in the EOF program.
