Find out more about Psi Chi at\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/psichi.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">psichi.org<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>In order to be qualified to apply for acceptance to Psi Chi at Ramapo College, a student must be a psychology major, a psychology minor, or a neuroscience minor and meet the following requirements:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>at least a 3.3 GPA overall at Ramapo College<\/li>\n<li>at least a 3.3 GPA in psychology at Ramapo College<\/li>\n<li>at least 3 full semesters of completed college work<\/li>\n<li>at least 12 credits of psychology coursework completed at Ramapo College<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Please note that these requirements are stricter than the national Psi Chi requirements!<\/strong> \u00a0Be sure to follow these requirements rather than the ones listed on the national Psi Chi website.<\/p>\n<p>Online applications can be submitted at <a href=\"https:\/\/memberapp.psichi.org\/applicationformmember.aspx\">https:\/\/memberapp.psichi.org\/applicationformmember.aspx<\/a><\/p>\n<h4>Timetable for Applications:<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Completed applications should be filed\u00a0by\u00a0<strong>September 2026.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>You must have the minimum required GPA <strong>when you apply.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>The applications will be reviewed soon after the submission deadline and accepted students will be notified in early November.<\/li>\n<li>An induction ceremony will be held in November.<\/li>\n<li>Dues are required\u00a0after a student has been accepted into Psi Chi and has agreed to join.\u00a0 The dues\u00a0are $75 per member ($55 for a lifetime membership in the international honor society and $20 for the induction costs at the local chapter).
