<\/i><\/i><\/i><\/span> Course Placement Determined by SAT Scores<\/p>

\n

Students that earned an SAT-Evidence-Based Reading & Writing score of 620 or higher will be placed in CRWT 102: Critical Reading and Writing II. This course is counts as 4 credits toward graduation requirements.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n

<\/i><\/i><\/i><\/span> Course Placement Determined by ACT Scores<\/p>

\n

Students that earned an ACT Composite score of 26 or higher will be placed in CRWT 102: Critical Reading and Writing II. This course is counts as 4 credits toward graduation requirements. A composite score of 26 or higher will also result in College-Level Mathematics course placement (determined by major and degree requirement).<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n

*Review: <\/strong>It has been determined that students falling within this score range are best reviewed manually rather than automatically by the testing system. A faculty member for Critical Reading and Writing will review the essays of these students on a weekly basis. Students will not be given a placement at the end of their test. These students will be emailed their placement usually within 7 business days of testing.<\/p>\n
