The Berrie Center is home to several theaters, visual and performing arts studios, galleries, classroom space, and offices for faculty and administration of the College\u2019s School of Contemporary Arts.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to student-centered performances and studies, the Berrie Center has been the venue for more than 20 years of professional stage, dance and musical presentations, concerts, lectures and special campus and Ramapo College Foundation gatherings.<\/p>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][\/et_pb_column][et_pb_column type=&#8221;3_5&#8243; Movement of scenery is maximized with a full-stage 30 line-set counterweight system.\u00a0The Sharp Theater is the premier space for larger productions, from Shakespeare to musicals, with complex scenery, lighting, sound and costume requirements.\u00a0Student actors experience playing to a large audience on a traditional stage. The Sharp Theater also serves as a campus venue for professional music, theater and dance performances.<\/p>\n<h4>Adler Theater<\/h4>\n<p>The Myron and Elaine Adler Theater is a black box style flexible theater space which seats up to 100.\u00a0The intimate playing space and audience configuration are changeable, making this a perfect space for experimental and non-traditional productions.\u00a0The Theater Program produces two smaller productions in the Adler Theater each year and it is the primary venue for student-generated work.<\/p>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][\/et_pb_column][et_pb_column type=&#8221;1_2&#8243; The Art Galleries are aligned with the School of Contemporary Arts and serve as a fertile resource for the College and area communities. In addition to faculty and senior thesis exhibitions, the Kresge and Pascal Galleries in the Berrie Center present a vibrant, international contemporary exhibition schedule. Ramapo College is also home to the largest concentration of Haitian art collections in any U.S. academic institution, which is continuously presented in the Selden Rodman Gallery of Popular Arts in B-Wing.
