A Psychological Counselor with Ramapo&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ramapo.edu\/counseling\/\">Counseling Services<\/a>, she is passionate about increasing access to counseling for LGBTQIA+, BIPOC, and other marginalized populations. EC can reduce the chance of pregnancy if taken within 72 hours (3 days) after unprotected sex or birth control failure. It works best the sooner it is taken.
