“Legacies in the Making” invites incoming first-generation students to come to campus early and acclimate to Ramapo College before the start of semester.聽聽The purpose of this program is to assist first-generation students with their transition to Ramapo College through workshops, activities, and community building that transform Ramapo into their home away from home.

Summer 2026 Program Dates
The Legacies in the Making Program will take place from Thursday, August 20 through Saturday, August 22, 2026.
Thursday, August 20 (opening for all students and evening move-in for residential students)
Please note that family members are permitted to assist their student with move-in. Overnight guests are prohibited during the Legacies in the Making Program.
Friday, August 21 (programming for residential and commuter student participants)
Saturday, August 22 (programming for residential and commuter student participants)
