This floor plan is a general representation of the apartment layout and may differ from the displayed image.
The Village apartment residences are located adjacent to the Peter P. Mercer Learning Commons, Angelica and Russ Berrie Center for the Performing and Visual Arts, and the Sharp Sustainability Education Center. The area is a short walk away from the Bill Bradley Sports and Recreation Center.
The twenty-two three-story buildings of the Village house 520 students. Apartments have four single bedrooms and large baths, a full kitchen (full-size refrigerator/freezer, microwave, and stove) with counter seating and a pass-through window to dining area/living room.
Village residents are not required to have meal plans.Â

Monday – Friday: 12 PM –12 AM
Saturday and Sunday: 8 PM – Midnight
Summer Hours:
Monday – Thursday: 8 AM – 5:15 PM
The Thomases Commons is the central point of the Village, and holds the Village Office, mail room, laundry room, and lounge. The laundry room is open 24/7. The remainder of the Thomases Commons is open whenever the Village Office is open (hours listed above).
Residents who wish to recycle may bring their recyclables to any designated recycling container/dumpster on campus. Recycling dumpsters are located behind buildings 1, 7, 11, and 13. Questions about recycling on campus may be emailed to recycle@ramapo.edu.
Residents who wish to compost should review the composting information here, which includes the compost drop-off location in the Village.
Cars are prohibited from the walkways. Driving on the walkways is dangerous for pedestrians and damages the landscaping and sprinkler heads.
Alcohol Allowed Housing is available in:
Residents may become eligible beginning the first day of classes each semester, per the Academic Calendar, provided all application requirements are met.
Alcohol is permitted only during the fall and Spring semesters. Alcohol is not permitted in any student housing during Winter Term, Summer Housing, or any interim/break periods, regardless of age or housing assignment. Possession of alcohol or alcohol-related paraphernalia during these times is prohibited and will be documented as a policy violation.

To become Alcohol Allowed Housing, all requirements below must be completed:
The agreement must be posted before alcohol can be present in the suite. Until the process is complete, the housing assignment remains Alcohol Prohibited.
Alcohol Allowed status is valid for one semester only and must be renewed each term.
Alcohol is regulated under campus policy and must comply with all guidelines outlined in the Student Handbook.
